WITH YOUR CELL PHONES, MAKE SURE TO SET UP THE ONLINE ACCOUTNS AND MONITOR THEM DAILY!
This is one of my other big mistakes that caused me problems. I tried to block the online accounts, but that is impossible. What I did was leave the door open for someone else to set up the online accout. From those accounts you can send email's, text messages, and monitor daily activity. Change your passwords weekly if not more, and then you have a better chance of staying safe.
There are many applications that are available on the market today that allow anyone access to any of your communications devices for very little money. Many of these applications are marketed towards monitoring your teens activities. Before you go out to buy some software to spy on your teen I ask you to take a few questions into consideration.
1. What kind of message are you sending your son or daughter by spying on them?
2. What kind of boundaries are you teaching your child,and as adults how will they impliment these boundaries towards others?
3. How would you have felt as a teen if your parents could see and hear everything that you were doing?
4. What if you misinterupt some of the information you gather on your son or daughter and what if they are innocent of what you believe is the truth? How will your child view you?

It is excpected that everyone has one, and everyone is expected to be available at all times.

HERE ARE A FEW THINGS IF I COULD DO OVER I WOULD, AND IT MAY HAVE SAVED ME FROM ACCUMULATING SO MANY LOSSES.
1. The first thing anyone should do when they separate from a domestic partner is change phones. Not only the physical device itself, but the carrier, plan, and even store need to be different.
2. When setting up new device you need a new email, all new passwords, and use a fictious name on the account.
3. THE APPLE ID! Here is where I made my biggest mistake, and the apple Id proved to be the entry portal into my life early on. Not only do you need a new apple ID, but you need to never use any of your old applications or keep your old music. It is hard to give up, but it could save you from months and months of heartache.
